Join Artist and art teacher Colleen Metzger for a Saturday workshop using two of her favorite mediums - cyanotype and clay! Attendees will create at least one of each project - cyanotype will be created using local flora and fauna and clay* piece will be a stylish handmade artisan cheese platter or fruit bowl to enjoy with local Tennessee gourmet items in your home after it is complete!

Includes a farm to table lunch with cheese wine and fruit, during the workshop

*clay piece will be picked up at SMS 2-3 weeks after the event, after firing.

Projects are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances

Date will be set August-October 2022. Workshop to be held at Mrs Metzger's art studio in Franklin.

Back by popular demand - it's Bedtime with the Beasts!

Put on your PJs and head to SMS to meet up with Mrs Proctor and Mrs Hultman for an evening of fun with nocturnal animal friends. This event will include a snack, a craft, stories and a visit and pictures with a variety of animal friends. This event is open to students in grades K-2. Date and time to be set for September 2022.
